Hong Kong Jewelry & Gem Fair, September 2017

This year is the 35th anniversary of Asia’s largest jewelry exhibit, the Hong Kong Jewelry & Gem Fair, which was successfully held at the AsiaWorld Expo in September 13-17, 2017, and at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center in September 15-19.

It can be considered as the world’s leading jewelry industry event. The scale of this exhibition covers an area of more than 135,000 square meters, attracting more than 3,690 exhibitors from 56 countries and regions to participate. AsiaWorld-Expo exhibition plans to include the world’s largest diamond hall, Asia’s most professional gemstone pearl halls; while Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center is focused on the display of bright and dazzling jadeite jewelry series.

The design brand Mason Tsai Timeless Jewel has subverted the traditional jadeite design framework thanks to the designer’s great creative energy and to his dexterity.  He managed to create works with a unique style and has often become the main focus of international exhibits. This time the works displayed in Hong Kong include: “Painting a Dream of Green: Butterfly Brooch” of the “Butterfly’s Dream” series, and the “Perfect Harmony: Jadeite And Diamond” of the “Universe” series, amongst others. These works are highly appreciated by domestic and foreign buyers and connoisseurs. The two works previously mentioned were purchased by international collectors during the exhibition.
